The More the Merrier: October 2014
http://thoserobertsons.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
The More the Merrier. Friday, October 31, 2014. The Realities and the Lessons. Taking "Wear it out" to a whole new level. The realities start as you either have to seek out and receive welfare assistance or not pay your mortgage. At first this isn't so bad, but as time moves on and you still need help, and even more help, it gets harder for people to take you seriously. Are you really doing all you can to find a job? Maybe you are just a loser who can't do anything right? You learn faith is the best choi...

The More the Merrier: July 2014
http://thoserobertsons.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
The More the Merrier. Monday, July 28, 2014. Susan is finally above her birth weight! She was weighed this afternoon and she is 8lbs 8ozs. She was 8lbs 4 ozs at birth. We are very grateful to finally be over that hump! John heard back this morning from the one place that had him write a couple of small programs after the phone interview. They said he passed the second part of the interview process and will have him come in sometime next week when their interviewer is back from vacation. Kate is a big hel...

The More the Merrier: August 2014
http://thoserobertsons.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
The More the Merrier. Sunday, August 24, 2014. This Week at Our House #34. Nothing, nothing, nothing from jobs. Ruth went to a regional church dance last night and had a lot of fun. A couple of her friends from Salt Lake came up for the dance. Ruth seemed to enjoy her final week of vacation, and is excited and nervous to begin her junior year of high school tomorrow. Josh pooped his pants and I made him clean up most of the mess himself. He was very grossed out. I sure wish he would get this figu...Arwen...

The More the Merrier: April 2015
http://thoserobertsons.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
The More the Merrier. Sunday, April 26, 2015. This Week at Our House # 17. John's job extended a bit for him to be the person to complete the web development portion of it. That's good. He had a job interview, but was not called back. I thought that was too bad for them, because John was a uniquely perfect fit for the job. He has two more phone interviews this week. Ruth's been busy preparing for AP exams. She dragged Kate to a school dance on Friday and they both had fun. Arwen has been talking more....

The More the Merrier: This Week at Our House # 31
http://thoserobertsons.blogspot.com/2015/08/this-week-at-our-house-31.html
The More the Merrier. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. This Week at Our House # 31. We went to Pineview Reservoir as a family on Saturday. It was the first day that both John and Ruth had off all summer, so as soon as people woke up, we packed them all into van and spent the day at the lake. John apparently is not a great swimmer and doesn't like the feel of sand on his feet. But he was glad we went anyway. Adam was a bit of trouble at the Bean Museum when we went, but he was good at the park. I think he en...

The More the Merrier: This Week at Our House # 30
http://thoserobertsons.blogspot.com/2015/08/this-week-at-our-house-30.html
The More the Merrier. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. This Week at Our House # 30. John had a meeting and got a new contract that extends him to the end of the month. Ruth had an ordinary week of work. We went to the lake on her day off and I know she had a real lovely time. Though she did get pretty badly burned. Kate did not go to the lake for girl reasons. But she cleaned the house and made peanut butters for the family. Rachel loved the lake and swimming out really far. She did a good job too. Suzy is getti...

The More the Merrier: This Week at Our House # 20
http://thoserobertsons.blogspot.com/2015/05/this-week-at-our-house-20.html
The More the Merrier. Sunday, May 17, 2015. This Week at Our House # 20. I had a busy, tiring week. I am definitely counting down to summer vacation. Two and a half more weeks to go. Ruth had pms. Every month for a week she thinks everything in her life is horrible and that she is a miserable failure, everyone hates her, and that she is fat, ugly, and stupid. I am always relieved when that week is over. Johnny's such a good boy. I ask him to do a lot and he just does it without complaint. Joseph was funn...

The More the Merrier: June 2014
http://thoserobertsons.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
The More the Merrier. Monday, June 30, 2014. This Week at Our House # 26. I sure wish I could say that John at least had a job interview, but nothing, and while he will continue to apply for at least five jobs a week, I am sure we will not hear anything until after the holiday. John has had lots of time to spend with baby Susan. He has taken care of her while I took my mom and the kids out shopping and to the dentist. Rachel has 4 more days left to the school year. I am so glad that we are finally co...

The More the Merrier: September 2014
http://thoserobertsons.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
The More the Merrier. Sunday, September 28, 2014. This Week at Our House # 39. Not a bad week. The phone interview John thought went badly last Friday sort of did. The interviewer recommended him for another position in the company, so he has a technical interview for that company this Wednesday. He has another place that has requested a phone interview. I looked up housing and cost of living in both places and I am really hoping John gets the second job and we get to move there. Adam came home from scho...

The More the Merrier. Monday, August 31, 2015. Kate: Can we watch Batman? Me: I don't think it's a very Sunday movie. Kate: Yes it is. Me: It's just a guy fighting. Kate: Ummm, Fighting bad guys- like Captain Moroni. This Week at Our House #34. School is back in full swing with early mornings full of work to lots of homework to arguing over bedtime to minor difficulties with some teachers. By Friday, I am completely exhausted. And now we have 9 more months to go. Joseph seems to be doing fine with a full...
