At one point in time I wanted to study archeology and history, but why didn't I? I don't have the answer to that. Apart from their colorful clothing, crafts and legends, there is a greeting they utilize which I particularly love. And from it I was inspired to make this illustration painting. Tuesday, June 24, 2014. A corner in my room. Happiness: You bring your own weather to the picnic.". Thursday, June 19, 2014. Father's day and peonies! We celebrated Father's day eating outside, and with a desserts table at home. My husband loves Flan and as we can't put aside our Italian heritage so we add some cantuccini too. Tuesday, June 9, 2015. My artwork is being exhibited in a building in Downtown Tyler. Is this exciting? Of course it is! Although is convined with scary feelings too as well. I think I'm lucky to have art skills which I learnend observing my Mother and my Uncle when they were at work, I remember standing nearby watching them moving their pincels, stroking the canvas, tranforming little by little a white surface into gorgeous colored landscapes or flowers. Wednesday, August 20, 2014. This white warrenton console was the first one my husband build. The height is right for what we need it for. He build this second one last week. For this one he used the right measurement, and reclaimed wood from a very old building from the city. The wood was a gift. I couldn't take more pictures of the process because I was doing something else,. But here I share the console inside the house now. It didn't need to be stained, only some wax and that was all.
