The Scott's: Oatmeal Bars
http://koreyandkellyscott.blogspot.com/2012/01/oatmeal-bars.html
Tuesday, January 31, 2012. These bars have four layers.an oatmeal shortbread crust, chocolate, caramel, and topped off with another layer of oatmeal shortbread mix that results in a crumbly topping. These are melt-in-your-mouth divine. So divine in fact that I was tempted to eat one for breakfast one morning. After all, it did have oats in it but I refrained. Only until lunch. Bar desserts. I knew I had to make these soon! 1 pkg caramel bits (in baking aisle). 2 cups all purpose flour. 1 cup brown sugar.

Thursday, September 22, 2011. Once upon a time my husband decided he wanted to illustrate for a living. Growing up he was always content to be drawing. Some kids like to read or play video games. He liked to draw. He has three websites that display his portfolio of work. The biggest one is Childrens Illustrators. There are over 700 hundred artists all displaying their work. If you take a look you will see they are all. On just one site? Besides his amazing talent that stands out, I think prayer is the ke...

http://koreyandkellyscott.blogspot.com/2013/03/cuteness.html
Sunday, March 24, 2013. I had a work even last week where I and my family were invited to go bowling. After fixing Hunter's hair I just had to capture his cuteness! And just ignore the bump on his forehead. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a working professional who needs my daily cup of coffee, I bake endless amounts of chocolate chip cookies for my husband, I am a mom to the most adorbable son and, most importantly, I am a daughter of the King. The Scott's: October 2012
http://koreyandkellyscott.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 14, 2012. What is it that we want to do with our home? Well, this is "the home" which means we aren't going anywhere for a good while. This is it. No more checking the MLS listings and counting out pennies to see what we can afford. Our new home has enough room in it for us to grow and expand as a family (no I'm not pregnant) and have room to entertain. But not just entertaining. Entertaining with a purpose. What's in the blog? It was exhausting, people. And I still have a long list o...

The Scott's: Saltine Cracker Toffee
http://koreyandkellyscott.blogspot.com/2011/12/saltine-cracker-toffee.html
Tuesday, December 20, 2011. I simply call this Toffee in my book because I haven't yet attempted to make. With a candy thermometer. The surprising ingredient is saltine crackers. Really? Yes, crackers. It's the perfect combination of sweet and salty. It also makes the perfect gift for neighbors for Christmas or an easy dessert that everyone will love. I've seen this floating around the internet for awhile but I like to think that my sister. Then you place it in the oven for FIVE MINUTES at 350. It wi...

The Scott's: December 2012
http://koreyandkellyscott.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 31, 2012. Well, I have a corrupt camera card so some of the pictures I took from Christmas I can't show. That's ok because we spent all of our Christmas vacation sick from the flu. Yep, that's right we had the gift that keeps on giving. Here is one picture I did take off of a different camera card. Hunter is playing with a remote control toy that he got. This is a few days post-flu for me and Korey. We're just thankful that Hunter didn't get it. Friday, December 28, 2012. These bars have...

Keeping up with Dr. Jones: November 2011
http://jones144.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Keeping up with Dr. Jones. Thursday, November 17, 2011. My latest hobby/fascination is writing using Hangul, the alphabet invented by Koreans for Koreans. (This is much more productive and less depressing than my previous hobby/fascination.). 1 I know several folks from Korea or with ancestry in Korea, and I like every single one of them. 2 I like the fact that Korean is not tonal. No offense to Chinese, but the difference between má and mà are tough for my ear and tongue to navigate.
