I took the long route to Roanoke this weekend, down the Blue Ridge Parkway about 100 miles. It was a great drive, even if it took almost twice as long as usual, and got my mileage up to almost 40 MPG. Sweet! These are two shots from along the Parkway. It's official: I'm getting old. My little brother is 18 now. He is still "littler" than me, although maybe not for long. Happy Birthday bro! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Apparently the US Postal Service decided they needed to start reaching out to Star Wars fans. The start of school meant a boring week. Which means it's time for a flashback:. An archive in week 1? Naw, let's keep breaking the rules. We are Virginia Tech. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

It's been a while since we had a flashback. This one goes back to the spring of 2006. This was an assignment for Digital Artmaking [I've posted a video that I made during that semester here. I met Saona Chapman, the point guard from the women's basketball team, one afternoon in the arena to shoot the pictures. This is probably my all-time favorite piece of artwork that I've done. It will probably also be my last. A framed, autographed original hangs on my wall. NCAA Division I Football has over 200 teams...

Until then, you can keep up with it by visiting this link:. Http:/ www.rvaym.com/category/potw/. Thanks for reading, and hope you'll join me over at rvaYM.com! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

It's about time for a flashback. Basketball season's starting, so we'll go back to March 2005. The Spiders women's basketball team traveled to Hartford, Connecticut for the first round of the NCAA Tournament and played Florida State at UConn. The game didn't turn out so well, but it was a fun trip! This was from right before tip-off. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Finishing up the wedding pictures this week. These are some of the fun ones from our unofficial photographer. One of the groomsmen. Clockwise from top left: me and the flower girl bustin' a move (she's not really as tall as me! Me and some of the wedding party singing along to something; me and my bro, the best man (or just our shoes); the conga line. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
