Friday, April 06, 2007. Florida State Parks - 2007. On one of our walks a family of wild pigs crossed the trail in front of us. There were two adults and 12-15 piglets. One of the adults turned and kept an eye on us while the little ones crossed the trail. The trail was a loop and we got a second glimpse of them as we made out way back. It was nice and we are thankful we had the ability to be there. As you can see we brought our own "home" with us. So recently we resolved two of our heating issues. The first is the source of LP. Many movies and TV shows were filmed there, including Sea Hunt, the old Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan movies, a James Bond flick and, my favorite - Creature from the Black Lagoon. The Glass Bottom boat tour showed us many of the filming sites. They had a bird I had never heard of - a Bateleur Eagle from Africa. A very colorful guy. They were hanging out with some Ibis.
