Friday, June 8, 2012. Daily LIfe in Gunnison. I haven't posted in a while because the internet (provided by satellite) at the campground has been down. We had a severe windstorm about 2 weeks ago and it somehow interfered with the reception. It is now fixed (I hope! And internet now seems to be pretty good. Tim and I have decided that if we come back next year, we will definitely stay at a campground in town where everything is better (location, internet, cell reception, etc.)! Wednesday, May 23, 2012.

Sunday, April 17, 2011. Gotta get it down again so that everything fits in the RV. Kitchen stuff to follow. I want to be able to live (for the most part) as we do at home. But I also understand the limitations for RV life and am trying to be good about what I pack and how the weight will affect the trailer. Our plans are to leave here on or about the 1st of May. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. I haven’t posted in a couple of weeks; there just hasn’t been much going on. Guess we’re more into a normal routine now instead of tourist mode. Weekend before last was the Blessing of the Fleet at the harbor. There were three ministers performing the blessings. Each vessel would wait in the lake, then come into the harbor one by one, each receiving a blessing and sprinkling of water from one of the ministers. There were all kinds of boats:. It turned out to be a phenomenal choice.

Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Well, the stars have all aligned! Things are rapidly moving along. The packers will be here the 16/17 April to pack us out. On the 18th, we have carpet cleaners and the bug guy coming. On that afternoon we'll head to Destin for three days before our journey west begins. I'm hoping that the rest of the next three weeks will go as smoothly as what we've already experienced. More to come as we get ready to leave! Friday, March 2, 2012.
