Heartline’s Maternity Center exists to provide expectant mothers in Haiti with excellent maternal-healthcare. When women enter our doors they find love, support, education, medical care, relationship and respect. The island nation of Haiti has the highest incidence of maternal and infant mortality in the Western Hemisphere. In Haiti, a woman's lifetime risk of maternal death is 1 in 83. In developed countries the rate is 1 in 3,800. Heartline Ministries is slowly and diligently working to change this.
