Story of the Smiths. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Summer at the Lake. We are definitely to that point in the summer where I really dread leaving the house, it's SO hot! I really never thought this moment would come. It took the perfect mixture of disapproval of pooping in her pants, next-level bribery, encouragement, and just her being willing to. She got to pick out whatever she wanted at the toy store, which ended up being a new Barbie that rides a scooter. My life just got so much easier!

Story of the Smiths. Wednesday, June 24, 2015. We had a great Father's Day, just our little family. We went to church, then lunch. Ryan took a nap when the kids did, then we went to dinner and the book store. It wasn't super exciting, but during a busy summer, we value that quality time! Rainbows #2 and 3. Sloan spotted the first one. Sloan and her rainbow. Little mister got a much needed new haircut. Micah's cute little sling. Saw a deer on a walk through the neighborhood. Some serious block building.

Story of the Smiths. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Micah will be 2 and Sloan will be 4 soon, so we had an early party for the kids last Saturday. They spent all morning in the back yard throwing water balloons, playing in the pool, shooting each other with water rockets, going down the slip n' slide, and bashing Olaf the pinata to death. A big thank you to everyone who came out! I'll be ordering their playscape soon, and can't wait to have more things to do in the back yard! Posted by Ryan and Justine.

Sunday, December 28, 2014. Christmas seemed to come really fast this year, so much going on around us. I didn't get to take Luke to get Christmas pictures and when we went to see Santa he was sick so those didn't turn out so great. So when he started feeling better I took these in the back yard at least I got some cute faces! He already misses Jingles (our Elf) but he is glad he is on "vacation". I didnt get any pictures of Jingles this year, next year I will have to try a little harder.

Friday, February 27, 2015. Luke has started taking riding lessons at Oakhollow. He has learned how to brush his pony and clean his feet. He learned how to saddle him and but a bridle in his mouth. He really likes his teacher her name is Madison. He is teaching Luke how to make Jack stop, go and turn. He looks sooo cute! He will stop during the summer and pick back up in the Fall. We were lucky to have had Aaron, Rebecca and Adam here too, to celebrate the wonderful day, and it was Aaron's first fathers day as well! Since we couldn't convince them to have breakfast in bed together we had a breakfast bar, which included .pancakes, omelets, bacon, fruit, and for dessert we had maple bacon cupcakes.Yum!
