Susan McEachern - After Edward Curtis

This work is titled After Edward Curtis because he was a photographer who was engaged in recording, in a picturesque manner, a vanishing people. Like Curtis, I have chosen a formal presentation of my subject, a setting which I have manufactured to look natural in my efforts to record a document of a disappearing form of life.
