ZED graphic design: Yulia Brodskaya
http://zedopson.blogspot.com/2011/03/yulia-brodskaya.html
Friday, 4 March 2011. Yulia Brodskaya is probably the most inspiring artist i've come across, her typographical and illustrative paper art is fascinating. The decorative style of typography really makes an impact, the delicate illustrations pair really well with the organic feel of the design. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). ZED graphic design: Inspiration for completion.
http://zedopson.blogspot.com/2011/03/inspiration-for-completion.html
Thursday, 3 March 2011. As I was experimenting I began to see a relationship between the pattern of my design and that of the Eden Project. I decided at that point I would continue with this idea. As you can see in the image behind the polygons lies a pattern of triangles; small and large. This is the basis for my design. Rather than it be a dome I want to create a full sphere. amysmithdaniels: March 2011
http://asd-graphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Monday, 14 March 2011. This is the original photo. Levels changed to make it brighter. Curves changed to make it brighter again in different areas. This one was just a bit of experiment to see what different colours would look like. I prefer the red and blue, still in keeping with the british colour theme. This is the final image i will use for my poster i still feel like its missing something though so i found the Design Museum logo on google. In the words of Alan. F* KKKKKK! The letters don't stand up ...

ZED graphic design: Further experimentation in repetition.
http://zedopson.blogspot.com/2011/03/further-experimentation-in-repetition.html
Thursday, 3 March 2011. Further experimentation in repetition. The other idea for joining each section was by corner. I started by creating mini spheres using this technique. Then built on the idea to create a pattern on a larger scale, I joined the corners by the exterior here. Then played around with laying the two patterns together. Here the joins are made on the inside, I much prefer this as I think it looks a lot neater. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Sean Dineen/Graphic designer: Celebrating 100 years of GF Smith paper
http://seandineengraphicdesigner.blogspot.com/2011/03/celebrating-100-years-of-gf-smith-paper.html
Monday, 14 March 2011. Celebrating 100 years of GF Smith paper. I chose this as my final design due to the fact that at the begginnning of the brief in my sketch book i stated that three elements that i wish to take into my final design will be abstract, clean and pure. Therefore i believe i have managed to capture these elements in this design. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Graphic Design: Models
http://lauradilley.blogspot.com/2011/05/models.html
Wednesday, 20 April 2011. Here are all the models I created from plasticine. I tested out adding spikes to the cactuses using real twigs and metal wire but I decided they looked better without. Small cactuses for the long shot. Eyes and eyebrows for the cactuses. Character 1 - based on Zorro. Character 2 - based on a Mexican Bandit. These are the close up eyes. I created all the close up shots by sticking plasicine onto a board so they are all 2D rather than 3D. Tumbleweed made out of hay.

ZED graphic design: Ideas
http://zedopson.blogspot.com/2011/03/ideas.html
Thursday, 10 March 2011. After not finding much to work on from the website and other research I started to experiment with ways in which I could express and emphasise the 100 years. I started with typography and sketching various ways in which I could manipulate the number 100. I also looked into ways in which other people had expressed the number. Working a bit more into the birthday theme. Simple but I think really effective. 5 May 2011 at 03:14. Excellent post. Thanks for sharing! 100 years to develop.
