Thursday, December 30, 2010. We drove around Austin, took a tour of the Capitol, ate at a restaurant on Lake Austin and at as many places featured on Man vs. Food and some antique mall shopping. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Another utah trip and more sister time. I came in on Rach's birthday, we got In-N-Out for dinner and Manti surprised Rach and I with Rach's favorite chocolate cake from La Jolla Groves and birthday candles to celebrate our August birthdays. Wednesday, August 22, 2012. We love all our grandchildren, and we are very fortunate to live about two hours away from Lillian, Ryan and Dara's daughter. We have been able to see her a lot lately. We're starting rather small, but hopefully it will lead us into a habit that we've all been encouraged to start:. Take a picture a day. Learn a new word a day. Read 50 pages a day. Draw something every day. Clean or organize a space a day - drawer, shelf, closet, cupboard. Memorize a measure of music a day. La vie est belle.

Wednesday, November 2, 2011. The kids and their costumes. I am really happy we could be here for Halloween and see Matt's nephews and sister dress up. We had forgotten how awesome Halloween is.
