Team Hoopes: November 2014
http://teamhoopes.blogspot.com/2015/05/november-2014.html
May 26, 2015. Art Neeley came to visit us for a little while on November 1st! He and Jeff lived on the same floor freshman year at BYU and he also served in the Hansen's mission in Hamburg. He ended up finishing his degree at OSU and was back here visiting for a Blue Jackets game. The kids always love a little dip in the hot tub before bath time. Pictures never turn out very well, but you can tell they are happy. :). And making snacks to share! All done and ready for Thanksgiving! Hannah reading our Yank...

Team Hoopes: June 2013

Jun 18, 2013. Camping with the Neilsons. Last weekend we went camping with our friends the Neilsons at Picnkey State Recreation Area. It was also Free Fishing Day that Saturday so the kids had lots of fun trying to catch tiny fish. We split up the meals and really had fun, but it is easy to forget how tiring camping can be! Babies who should be sleeping like to roll around in the tent instead! Climbing up the slide at the part of the park where we had lunch. She went down so many times! That sums it up!

Jul 21, 2013. 10 months and 11 months! Sarah turned 10 months on June 17th. The camera was on some funky setting and that paired with her super-dark room (great for naps, not so good for pictures! Meant I didn't get many good shots. But she is very cute nonetheless :). She hit 11 months this past week and got her pictures taken in the same chair, different house! Where's that lever you pull to lift my feet up? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Look at Books. 10 months and 11 months!

Rin's House: February 2009
http://rinshouse.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 25, 2009. World Special Olympics 2009. Last week was one of the most fulfilling weeks of my life. It was hectic and busy, gruesome, tiring and yet so amazing. When I think about the friends I made, the people I met and the experiences I had, I can't believe I was here at this time. Everything happens for a reason and I was reminded of that again as I went throughout the week. I would point to their team name on the schedule of events and they would say Si! It was a lot of fun! This at...

Rin's House: November 2009

Tuesday, November 3, 2009. I don't really ever tell people I'm in band and the other day, I got caught: A member of my ward is on the cheer team and the marching band shares a (seemingly) brand new facility with the cheerleaders and dance team. I was using the bathroom the other day and ran into this girl from my ward. She said, "Hey Erin! What are you doing here? Needless to say I said, "The band hall has really nice bathrooms? And as it was coming out of my mouth she said, "Are you in the band?

Thursday, January 29, 2009. Tagged By A Sister. I don't know very many people with blogs and I feel like everyone I know has already been tagged so, I won't be passing along the favor! Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Along with that tiredness however is the knowledge that I am prioritizing properly. Right now for instance I am beyond being tired and I am on the verge of hibernation. I have been up since 4:30 AM but, I was fortunate enough to be able to go to the Boise Temple at that time. Dee and Bob McKoy.

Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Upon leaving one of my classes the other day I heard someone say,. Our Government sucks and it's no wonder our education system is as terrible as it is. We should just do what every other nation in this world does and those who are ACTUALLY intelligent should be allowed to go to college and everyone else can just go to trade school.". Thursday, August 21, 2008. End of Summer Update. It has been forever. I know. You've missed me, but now I'm back! The end of the Summer was eventful, emotional and I learned a lot about myself. Sure, it was just the end of a season but, "season" has many meanings and I find myself having gone through one the last little while and find myself entering a new one as Summer ends. I received my diploma from Weber State. Just an Associate degree, but it is an accomplishment. Mom, Dad and I went to Duck in the ...

Dec 7, 2014. Book Review: I Want to Be Baptized, by Annalisa Hall. I am posting this a couple days later than I should be. A couple months ago I was sent a digital copy of Annalisa Hall's new book I Want to Be Baptized to review. I read it with my oldest, who will be baptized this coming year. Many thanks to Cedar Fort Publishing for letting us review this simple but very helpful book. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Look at Books.
