Tuesday, September 20, 2011. A very cool day. John and I went to the Texas Tech home opener the other day. It was a very cool day. The day started with us getting there way too early. Anytime John and I travel together, we make it a point to get there ridiculously early. Like two old men. Low and behold we are standing right where the football players start their "Raider Walk" to the stadium. Very neat. But here is where it gets very cool. I got to give him a high five. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. We had a great summer. My kids are pumped about school starting. I am also pretty excited. This week we have been having In-Service. Today as I stared out across a room full of high school teachers, I was humbled by the sight. What an awesome group I have the pleasure to work with! Sure, the money is not great.and sure, the time they spend away from their own families is tough.but, the rewards in a profession like this is like none other. Have a great year!

Sunday, September 11, 2011. I am having my absolutely best start at work this Fall. This is year 4 for us at CHS. I am very proud of our students and staff. They really are the best. Will there be issues and/or drama? Yes Will we work through them and always do what's best for kids? Yes Just know that I am really enjoying this years' start. Kristen Jill is doing volleyball and cross-country this year as a 7th grader! She is doing great. Where did my lil' girl go? Yes Is it a work in progress? A very luck...

Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Funnyor at least I thought it was. There was this one time that I talked my brother-in-law in helping me to try and push start my old riding lawn mower.I told him he just wasn't pushing fast enough. Have you ever talked into the speaker at McDonald's the same time as the worker was talking.so funny. Have you ever drove off from the window at McDonald's and said, "I love you".very funny. I liked running outside.but, people were always stopping me to ask if I was alright.
