Fleur de Lis: include 'VIOLIN' in every resume.
http://musique88.blogspot.com/2013/08/include-violin-in-every-resume.html
Include 'VIOLIN' in every resume. I often avoid revealing my whole resume in simple get-to-know-you conversations. In fact, I sometimes hide whole sections of my life story in order not to - overwhelm someone. Well that sounds like a prideful pig! Well, when I agreed to come visit a good friend in New England, I had no idea that her family were music lovers. I had told them the basic conducting and piano emphases at school, but it took three days for me to uncover that I played the violin. The first viol...

Fleur de Lis: Enter Berliner Symphoniker
http://musique88.blogspot.com/2013/07/enter-berliner-symphoniker.html
We moved to Grazer Platz 2 once we were ready for the orchestra to come join us: a beautiful hall with high ceilings, stained glass windows letting in floods of light on both of the sides, carpet, and a sort of chapel and crucifixion statue off to the side. Our program with them is. Mozart Symphony no. 40 KV 550. Schubert Symphony no. 5 D 485 and. Respighi Antiche Deanze ed Arie - Suite No. 3. Many reminders, many new things that I need to post in my conducting blog before I forget them All of the music ...

e.olson: Alton Towers.
http://lifeisbonita.blogspot.com/2015/06/alton-towers.html
Wednesday, June 10, 2015. This week I went with friends to Alton Towers. It is about 2 hours away from Manchester near the beautiful Peak District. It is similar to Lagoon on the entertainment scale, but much more scenic surroundings and gorgeous landscape. A real castle and gardens sit in the middle of it. The center of the park is beautiful! Had such a great time with Javiera, Pilar and Thafera! Cute girls on the skyride! This is my favorite ride! Pilar and her cute trash bag! The story of MY life.

e.olson: Why I choose to be religious and adhere to strict standards.
http://lifeisbonita.blogspot.com/2015/05/why-i-choose-to-be-religious-and-adhere.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Why I choose to be religious and adhere to strict standards. Going through old drafts today and I found this from a few months ago. I don't remember why it was I felt I needed to say this, but I am grateful for the reminder of how much I truly need God. I cannot afford to leave my happiness up to anyone other than God. I cannot afford to go against what has been promised to me will bring me happiness. Amen, sister. So well said. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

e.olson: London.
http://lifeisbonita.blogspot.com/2015/05/london.html
Friday, May 15, 2015. I flew in from the Netherlands and had enough time to repack my bag eat some food and then run to catch a train down to London. I originally had planned to go to meet one of my favorite people, Kelly, coming from Utah. However, she got accepted into an amazing PA school and had to move across the country.so she had to cancel her trip. I also stopped in Shoreditch at the Beigel Bake. Heaven right here. Joana also took a day off. We went to Camden Markets, got stopped for free hai...

e.olson: Surprise! ...and what I've been up to.
http://lifeisbonita.blogspot.com/2015/08/surprise-and-what-ive-been-up-to.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. And what I've been up to. I filmed a video a few days before hanging out at the church with friends and sent it to them as I was traveling. I think that really threw everyone off! When I arrived, everyone was beyond shocked! Sarah and Karen cried and everyone was speechless. It was the largest surprise I have ever done and so worth it. Such a wonderful memory. The family on Father's Day and David's Farewell. Karen going to the temple. Had such a great time hanging out with them!

e.olson: The Peak District.
http://lifeisbonita.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-peak-district.html
Saturday, June 6, 2015. This week, I went with some of my friends to camp in the Peak District. It is a short drive from Manchester full of beautiful green rolling hills, sheep and just some amazing picturesque scenery. We camped at a farm surrounded by sheep (camping in the States is pretty different). It was really fun to get out, hike, explore and have a great time. Pitching the tent at the farm! The warmest I have ever seen England. It was a dream! Our campsite buddies :). The story of MY life.

Fleur de Lis: Proud to be American. European.
http://musique88.blogspot.com/2013/07/proud-to-be-american-european.html
Proud to be American. European. While turning towards whatever has the most red white and blue in the room, we chanted the pledge of allegiance, to the flag of the United States of America for 7 years when we lived in Europe. I was definitely American, from America, with parents from America, in the American section of the school, and speaking American at home. Somehow, this life seems more simple. The cars, the roads, the buildings, the houses, the portion sizes (! Very well said. Everywhere has som...
