Friday, March 27, 2009. One cool thing about paris was recognizing lots of the areas from the shorts of Paris, Je T'aime. i definitely want to re-watch that one. and Amelie. supposedly our hostel was in an area where parts of Amelie was filmed. And i want to re-watch In Bruges now, too. i think all of these movies will have an extra charm now. Tuesday, October 1, 2013. There's no clocking in or out, but there is showing up to do your part. Apparently taking a sick day is nearly unheard of. It's a cultural thing to show up to work through hell and high water. So, the temptation of calling in sick to take a 3 day weekend is one that I should always consider off limits. Looking forward to specific things makes the week go by slower. But the week still goes by. If only I can find ways to have fun while teaching! Nice to meet you! Nice to meet you!
