A multi-instrumentalist, Stratton has played piano, guitar, bass, drums, orchestral and world percussion on many of his scores. He has also performed in numerous musical groups in the Detroit area; playing percussion in the Dearborn Youth Symphony, contributing bass and lead vocals to the Metro Detroit based rock band Live the Dash. And playing bass, rhythm guitar, and lead vocals in the Troy based metal band, In Mind.
