Memoirs of me: January 2012
http://lizbestphoto.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
A blog for me to rant about my research work into tracing a family, and my Masters Project for the next 2 years. Tuesday, 31 January 2012. A little background about me. All these posts are very researchy aren't they? I thought it might be an idea to place all this research against the background of my life, why I'm doing all this and how. I am 42. I live in Cornwall with my husband Jon of 11 years and my three girls, Rhiannon (18), Shannon (16) and Ilona (9). That led to my University offer at Falmouth.

A blog for me to rant about my research work into tracing a family, and my Masters Project for the next 2 years. Monday, 20 February 2012. Looking for case study subjects. Having decided to base my research around case studies, I am now beginning to look for three generations (perhaps of the same family) to volunteer. Ideally I would like someone born between 1920 and 1940, another born between 1950 and 1970 and finally someone born between 1985 and 1995. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

A blog for me to rant about my research work into tracing a family, and my Masters Project for the next 2 years. Monday, 25 June 2012. Events have taken a turn. After much pulling of hair and wailing, a decision has been made. I am taking a suspension of my studies in September and I have applied for an internship at Falmouth University for the year, then I will continue the masters in 2013. Such a relief to have a plan again. Now cross fingers and toes that I get this internship! Events have taken a turn.
Memoirs of me: Buses

A blog for me to rant about my research work into tracing a family, and my Masters Project for the next 2 years. Friday, 5 October 2012. I have come to the conclusion that jobs are like buses.nothing for years and then loads at once. I heard from one college (yes, just one.you'd think the offer of a free worker would be met with more excitement, wouldn't you? And started assisting on the Art and Design Foundation course at Truro College in September. Woo! Then I began a discussion with Dena O'Brien.

A blog for me to rant about my research work into tracing a family, and my Masters Project for the next 2 years. Monday, 10 September 2012. New Website and other news. Been away longer than I thought. Here's an update on recent activity in very short, concise sentences. 1 Have decided the MRes at Plymouth was not for me. Wrong time, wrong place, wrong course. So I have cut and run! 4 I shall be assisting on the Art and Design Foundation course at Truro College until the Christmas break.

We've got the fever. Friday, June 7, 2013. We may or may not have ditched work. We may or may not have pulled kids from school. We may or may not have enjoyed ourselves. We may or may not have had a lot of fun. Family Ditch Day was a success. And seriously, I think we have a coaster rider! No one prompted him to do this. He climbed up on my lap and the moment we crested, his hands shot straight up! As a coaster buff, I was so proud. Saturday, March 30, 2013. The Young Violinist Group:. Easter Eggs colore...

Yes, I realize that we are now over a month past E3 and the Destiny wars, but today it struck me that there is a HUGE group of players that are being overlooked by Activision and the press alike. Before I speak to this group, let me say quick impressions on two of the hot issues. Season 1 DLC Owners are Being Robbed". Do I care: no.

The Fray’s National Anthem. As a fan of the Fray (and I’m sorry I cannot claim to have found them before Scrubs and Gray’s Anatomy made them popular) I was quite interested to see that the Fray played the national anthem at the NCAA championship game. This being said, I am still a bit confused… Continue reading →. For I am Dead. For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died.
