Sunday, November 23, 2008. I am finally at my final location here in Afghanistan. It took a couple of weeks to get here but it is good to finally be able to settle down. I will update you more as I get settled in but here are a few pictures of the trip so far. This is from one of the bases I stopped at for a few days on my way to my final destination. Monday, January 19, 2015. My Best Girl Turned TEN. On January 8th, Aspen turned 10 years old. She picked Emily to go to Color-Me-Mine. Where they painted giant hot chocolate mugs. The. Girls chose Chick-fil-a for dinner, Finally it was. Back home for cake, presents and visits from family and. Friends, It was a long action packed day. This year, Aspen brought her friend Kenzie. Rides During Labor Day and Grandpa Robbie was nice enough to take Dylan and I to go ride it. Dylan. Was so excited and couldn't. Hardly wait, the hardest part was the hour wait for his turn but he was so good. While we waited for our turn the Pilot let us sit in the smaller helicopter and take some pictures, Dylan was so proud and had the biggest grin on his face the whole time!

Wednesday, December 23, 2009. This morning we woke up to snow! But we were still happy to see some 2 days before Christmas. As soon as Dylan saw it he went and got his shoes and his jacket and headed outside. A little later after we got dressed we went out and made a little snowman with the little snow we had left ( it was already starting to melt). Our Snowman is not going to last much longer. Friday, February 20, 2009. Thanks for all the birthday wishes and notes. Things here are going well and we are already a quarter of the way through this deployment.
