Mathias and Craig Families. Thursday, September 02, 2010. September 1, was Mom and Dad's 59th wedding anniversary! What an incredible milestone for the most wonderful parents! We were so excited to be able to do this for them, especially as the weather starts to get darker, because Daddy loves the sunshine! I don't remember having seen them for 16 years. Mathias and Craig Families. Thursday, May 23, 2013. As usual, lots of things have happened since my last blog, but I'm going to try to be verbally brief and just post pictures. On September 6, 2012, very early in the morning, Daddy left this world for a MUCH better place. Mom wrote this on her calendar: "George died 4:30 am He had fulfilled his mission here." Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Framing, Wires, and Sheetrock. Progress is being made! The girls and I were away for a Girl Scout thing for a weekend and Troy got the framing up. And all the wiring done. Lots and lots of wires. There is no longer a hallway to the bathroom, but the bathroom is going to be a lot bigger now! A fair trade I'd say. Then the wall sheetrock started. Much to my (and I'm sure Troy's) pleasure, Troy's dad and brother came to visit. My arms and Troy's sanity are grateful they did!

Monday, June 29, 2015. Hazel turned 9 on Sunday, but we turned it into a 2 day event. On Saturday we invited some friends and family out to Camp Yamhill for a forest themed party. There was a small water hike down Haskins Creek and lots of swimming and water guns at Inspiration Point. The birthday girl wanted bear claws for her "cake" because it went better with her forest theme, of course. Her birthday lunch choice was Abbys, duh. The story of five moores. Sunday, July 19, 2015. Road Trip 2015 (the road home). After we left OKC, our first stop was a short drive to Hays, Kansas where it was a gazillion degrees and nothing but prairie as far as the eye can see. But the next night, we in Vail, Colorado, where it was a cool 83 degrees and this was the view from our hotel room. We had a pretty fun hotel room that was 2 stories. It was a challenge keeping the boys from trying to be dare devils on the spiral stair case and banister.
