My quick idea generation. Moving straight o digital was a choice i now think was made because of the insufficient design process, in a hast to crack on and get something created i ran to my mac and visualised the designs without using proper though to why i was doing it, which in turn resulted in a visually appealing design but lacking in certain areas. I have finally got it! I have finally got round to purchasing my domain name. It has been something i have wanted to do for a while put kept putting it off. I will get general details on it soon and then set it live. I intend to get it sorted over christmas, with a little help from a friend who happens to be a web designer, and has offered to work for free. Its all about the contacts". Design for web - tutorial 1. Initial experiments with layout. Laying out my designs in Photoshop was a helpful process in actually visualised possible designs for the site. I found doing it this way was more helpful as i can see the final layout in full colour and image, instead of typing the code in and being blind to what it will look like exactly. After seeing my previous was abit bland and unattractive i thought i needed to bring abit of colour to my page and myself so came up with a series of vibrant colour gradients. Lets hope i don't get bored with design too soon. Even if i do i hink i will keep the basic concept but i can always adjust the colours, this will keep my brand recognisable no matter what colour way is used. I have finally got it! Design Practice: Gift bag evaluation

After finishing the designs, nets and constructing the gift bag for the final part of the ICA series, i have time to evaluate it. Again i am quite pleased with the the overall finish of the gift bag, and think it finishes of the set effectively. Creating the net and cutting it out was my main hurdle, as i had to position the folds perfectly because i had no guide lines to go by, but i eventually over came this. Posted by Scott marc Berry.
