Tuesday, 13 December 2011. I the cover for the second issue also. We wanted the range to be consistent with type so I used the same idea. I didn't want to include an image on this because I wanted it to be different from the first. I have taken a range of words which make up paranormal, which the second issue is about. I have decreased the tpye size and repeated the type over and over. I have proposed the colour for what the issue would be, this wine red colour. Labels: brief 3 Things you should know.

Tuesday, 13 December 2011. I want to be able to represent the campaign in context. I think the best location in which you would find this would be in supermarkets. I want to suggest hanging signs, aisle signs, A boards and taster stations for in and around the store. I found some supermarket images and tried to apply my swatch poster design where I could. My photoshop skills aren't too advanced but I have managed to mock these images up on existing photos as if they were placed around store.

Tuesday, 13 December 2011. I was quite happy with the feedback I got because it was specific and relevant and pointed out things I hadn't thought about. So it was usefull, just need to make the neccesarry changes now. Need to photograph somethings in context like the swing tickets on garments etc to make it more realistic and see how it would work in the real world. Some images were a bit repetitive just different angles etc so I need to just get rid of them to make it the boards more concise.

These images show that the swatches don't have to be the standard size that I imagine them to be, long and thin, but I would prefer this so that it is obvious to the audience what they are supposed to be. Wednesday, 30 May 2012. My business cards came! I'm quite happy with them and glad I went for the spot uv rather than the cheap option of just CMYK colour. Also a lot of people seem to be getting foil business cards which look so good but I'm happy with the spot uv. Wednesday, 30 May 2012. End of Module Evaluation OUGD303. I definitely work predominantly with type and layout and this is always a considered largely within my designs. This is a conscious design within my work and as I stated in my SOI I would stay away from image.
