Doing life Schmitz family style: April 2013
http://jasonandkelli.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Doing life Schmitz family style. Tuesday, April 9, 2013. A one-of-a-kind birthday girl. Three years ago today we were introduced. To the incredible little human that is Lily Jeanne Schmitz. Blowing out candles on her gluten-free waffle with purple frosting. Aside from her improving growth pattern, Lily continues to daily challenge and humble us. She's a typical three-year-old who loves to push boundaries and test our patience, but who is also loving and sweet. She's taken every crazy change. The last sev...

Doing life Schmitz family style: December 2010
http://jasonandkelli.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Doing life Schmitz family style. Monday, December 20, 2010. We have been absent from the blog for a long time. Mostly, it seems, because pretty much everyone is on Facebook now. However, we don't update Facebook with everything we are doing, so here is a summary. Last month, we came home to find our door broken in and most of our valuables missing. To make a long story short, we've replaced what we could, and are just thankful that no one was hurt, and that we were not home at the time. In the last coupl...

Doing life Schmitz family style: Five year anniversary
http://jasonandkelli.blogspot.com/2012/08/five-year-anniversary.html
Doing life Schmitz family style. Saturday, August 18, 2012. Today is our five year wedding anniversary. We've been very blessed in our first five years of marriage. We bought our home, brought Lily into the world, and now we are working on the next chapter. What better way to celebrate this landmark date than by packing up all our stuff, moving all our furniture to the garage and ripping out the carpet? Here is our living room back when we finished it in 2011. Here it is after our awesome. For four years...

Doing life Schmitz family style: October 2010
http://jasonandkelli.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Doing life Schmitz family style. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Family, it's amazing how smiles, hugs and kisses can change your day so dramatically. I just hope I return the favor to them as often as I can. How blessed I am to have such a wonderful wife and daughter! Thursday, October 14, 2010. We can hardly believe Lily is 6 months old. The amazing changes that we've seen until now seem small compared to the changes we'll see in the next 6 months! I hope she's as enthusiastic about all vegetables.

Doing life Schmitz family style: February 2011
http://jasonandkelli.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Doing life Schmitz family style. Monday, February 14, 2011. Time flies when you're having fun. The last several weeks have been very busy! Just when it seems like we might get a break, things get crazy again. It would have been nicer if we didn't have to stand out in 14 degree and windy conditions to get in to see Joe Mauer, so we decided to leave. Hopefully next year, they will find a venue that allows the entire thing to be indoors, without people having to go from one building to the next. It's been a...

Doing life Schmitz family style: Why so Grimm?
http://jasonandkelli.blogspot.com/2013/04/why-so-grimm.html
Doing life Schmitz family style. Wednesday, April 3, 2013. The last several days have been a crazy combination of excitement, stress, happiness, gratitude and exhaustion as we said goodbye to our home of the last five years which we poured so much of ourselves into and started a new chapter in our house in Chaska on Grimm Road. Last Thursday, Jason's dad Allen, his farm hand Joe and the husband of our daycare provider, Todd all came over to help us move everything from the Upton house to the new garage.

Doing life Schmitz family style: January 2014
http://jasonandkelli.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Doing life Schmitz family style. Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Our gluten free story. One year ago today, we started on a journey to completely change the way our family eats. We have been gluten free for a whole year, and we don't plan on going back. I'd explain how we got here, so here goes. Lily and me at Children's hospital for her. I had a cold, hence the mask.). While we were going through this process and trying to learn as much about celiac disease and gluten sensitivity. The first few months were ...
