Tuesday, 29 November 2011. The Bavaria name needs moving down slightly. I am going to mock this up before printing to see which stock will look better, sugar or brown paper. I decided to go for warmer stocks as it has a warm, natural quality to the collection. The New Mod bag will be printed on a bright white, and I will change the look book to this stock too as the New Mod collection has a crisp, sharp finish which would benefit from a clean stock. When I first glanced at the image I was very aware of the sexual context and its explicit nature and I, as the viewer, questioned whether this is something I should be looking at, are people looking at me looking at this image? I played around with the layout for the compliments slip, I quite like the idea of it being a portrait format as this parallels the design of the verticle patterns and I think it appears sleek and interesting.
