Books, Roses and Wine - Oh my!: November 2014
http://amandabethrose.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
November 29, 2014. And Now I Belong. And then, this May, the class I would have been in graduated from my first college, and I found I was able to start letting it go. Going back to visit the town where that school is got easier, I was able to stop making comparisons, and when this school year came around, I was really excited to get back to my classes. Somehow, without realizing it, I'd slipped from feeling detached to feeling I belonged. Labels: confessions of a hospitality student. November 21, 2014.

June 30, 2010. Alex O Donnell and the 40 Cyberthieves. Who do you think you would go the best with? It can be a bit hard to choose, Bear, Fish and Paul are all such great guys! Most girls though seem to have a pretty decided preference one way or another though. Maybe a combination of the two? With the release of Alex O'Donnell. Alex O'Donnel...

December 31, 2014. Flipping Through the Photo Album of 2014. Oh gosh - I bet a bunch of these new kids don't even know what a photo album is. Sad, so very sad. Well here it is! The last day of 2014! Books, Roses and Wine - Oh my!: July 2015
http://amandabethrose.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
July 7, 2015. A Crash Course in Palestine. Working in a large hotel with meeting and event space is proving to have an educational aspect that I did not expect. We of course have our weddings, business meetings, and educational conventions. Those have proven to be interesting, but nothing quite like the group we had over the weekend of the 4th of July. So that was my unexpected educational weekend. It just goes to show you never know who will walk through your front door. Labels: confessions of a GSA.

Books, Roses and Wine - Oh my!: A New Page
http://amandabethrose.blogspot.com/2015/05/a-new-page.html
May 27, 2015. Over the weekend, I only had to convince one of the people who reads this blog that yes, I was serious, when I said my exciting news has nothing to do with rings and wedding bells. That's not bad. So what is it then? Alright, I'll tell you. This coming Monday, I will be moving up in the career world by starting my very first full time job! And scheduled the interview. And that was how the woman I first interviewed with ended up going to HR, telling them that they needed to hire me because I...

Books, Roses and Wine - Oh my!: April 2015
http://amandabethrose.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
April 20, 2015. I must admit. I've had a bit of Blogger/Pinterest/Instagram envy going on lately. It's not that I am dissatisfied with my own life, exactly, but it seems to be paling in comparison with the lives of everyone else. I try to remind myself that, as a culture, we don't like people to know about the struggles we are going through. It's considered impolite to tell people how we are really. I doubt anyone would ever look at my life and go "Oh wow. I wish my life was more like Amanda's! I think w...

Books, Roses and Wine - Oh my!: February 2015
http://amandabethrose.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
February 24, 2015. He Knows What He's Doing. I was sitting in adoration, reading the first chapter of Genesis and attempting to find some sort of meditation in it. I'm not the best at meditating and meaningful reflections, and it's tough when it's a story you've heard over and over again. The Creation of the World - so much has already been said on it, what else could I draw from that story? I sat there, asking myself "what does this mean? What can I learn from this? I learn from this? But He didn't do i...
