In november of 2004 we were invited to participate in the Pocahontas NRHS train show in Bluefield WV. The NRHS members are really nice people and we had a great time. They arranged for us to set up in part of a gymnasium along with a number of vendors. The seating around the perimeter of the gym made photos of the overall layout easy.

In 2004 Ken Anderson decided it might be fun to go to the NMRA national show in. This is a shot of the whole layout at the convention. The footprint is 40' x 52', one of the smallest layouts we have done in years. The size was limited by both the available space and the cargo capacity of the vehicles making the trip.

Can honestly say that we have never built a layout quite like that before. NRVMRC 2005 Show PDF file. Friday evening: you can see the small 'L' shaped loop in the fore ground and the larger 'U' shaped loop in the back ground. Before too long we'll have the whole alphabet. There is a fair amount of switching on the small loop.
