Having graduated from drawing - working on paper is a basis for everything that I do. While these works may be less and less prominent in the final product, they are the basis of my research for every project I complete. I often start with basic sketches, moving to more refined drawings and photographs. While they serve me as foundations for larger projects, they definitely stand alone as pieces by themselves. In part, my experiences as the President of M:ST Performative Art Festival have informed and influenced my practice, as the performance community becomes one that I continue to identify with.
