Random Bible Theories: December 2012
http://random-bible-theories.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, 23 December 2012. I have to say that experiencing the birth of a child has to go down as total proof that God exists. At the beginning of this year Beth, my daughter, didn't exist in anyway. She had no soul, she had no body, no mind, no personality, no character. But one little act of love and BOOM! If ever there needed to be total proof that this universe was created by a Great Designer, this is it. Billions of years and random chance could never create a baby. Especially not Beth. Lessons from ...

Random Bible Theories: James Fraser on prayer
http://random-bible-theories.blogspot.com/2015/01/james-fraser-on-prayer.html
Friday, 30 January 2015. James Fraser on prayer. He was feeling more and more that the prayers of God's people were what called down blessing on the work. It didn't matter whether those people were directly engaged in the work or not.". Because of this, James saw that Christians at home could do as much for foreign mission as those actually on the field. 'I believe it will only be known on the Last Day how much has been accomplished in missionary work by the prayers of earnest believers at home.'". James...

Random Bible Theories: As holy as he wants
http://random-bible-theories.blogspot.com/2015/01/as-holy-as-he-wants.html
Friday, 30 January 2015. As holy as he wants. Hudson Taylor observed that there is no possibility of power in a life which is easygoing and which shrinks from the Cross. This truth came home to James during these months. It would be costly to maintain a close walk with God, a deep and continual cost every day of his life . This led him on to an allied truth. Everyone,' as A.W. Tozer, is just as holy as he wants to be.'. P154, Mountain Rain, The Biography of James O. Fraser. Lessons from Hudson Taylor.

Random Bible Theories: February 2013
http://random-bible-theories.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Friday, 22 February 2013. There is nothing difficult. This morning I was thinking about God and the concept of difficulty. We often say phrases like "nothing is too difficult for God". Like some things for him are harder than others, but nothing manages to overwhelm him. But then you think, does the word 'difficult' even apply? Does God find anything remotely hard? As I was thinking about this I had the book of Psalms open and happened to read Psalm 29:. The voice of the LORD flashes forth flames of fire.

Random Bible Theories: Life and Peace
http://random-bible-theories.blogspot.com/2013/10/life-and-peace.html
Tuesday, 22 October 2013. A verse I've been chewing over these last couple of days:. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.". And this verse says that is death. But to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace" — how awesome is that promise! Life and peace are two things tha...

Random Bible Theories: October 2012
http://random-bible-theories.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 30 October 2012. Two levels of belief. You don't fully trust God, but you know he should be obeyed. The second level is when you genuinely start to believe and trust. When God says a certain thing is bad, and not what he intended, the thing itself looks tainted. When you truly grasp that God is the great designer, you know that nothing can work outside his design. Everything else leads to death. Opposing God has the stench of a rotting corpse. 11 I have stored up your word in my heart,. I would ...
