Felix is a young boy whose parents left him in an orphanage when he was small. The whole story is about Felix. He is the one narrating the story from his own experiences. When you read the story, you can see that he says "once I." or "I was." and so many other ways of him saying he did or felt something. Therefore, the Felix is one of the main characters.
