Monday, October 27, 2008. Well, we have been back for about a week! We took the family to California. We visited Sea World, Disneyland, and California Adventure. We had so much fun! My mom and dad, Matthew's mom and dad, Corrina, Aaron and Steven all got to go with us. We missed Mindie and Leah not being with us though. Monday, October 31, 2005. We had a breakthrough with Sophie! This is a really slow train ride in a catipiller (sp? It doesn't go fast, it doesn't go up or down any hills, it is actually REALLY BORING! But Sophie, when I went to take her on it, threw the biggest fit of her life! Saturday, July 29, 2006. We went to Wildlife Safari yesterday with my mom. We had a great time. We got to touch an elephant, I think that was my first time touching one, it felt really weird and hairy. But not soft hair, really really course hair, all over its body. We had a picnic, and then me and the girls took a camel ride! It was either that or an elephant ride, and I just wasn't up for sitting on the elephant after touching it. Fun day and fun memories! Friday, March 31, 2006. I SHOULDN'T be surprised that my little Mattie would go up into this highrise of a playland all by herself. Sophie has yet to enter one of these things, she thinks there are monsters in there. Mattie though, a few weeks ago surprised us all by disappearing into the tubes and coming out the other end all by herself! Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Leah just turned the big 30. We had a nice celebration at Los Dos Amigos with about 25-30 people. Of coarse, they lost our reservation, so it was a scramble at the last minute to fit all of us in, in the same section. They managed, we managed, and all was well. The Driver's Education with UCC (Umpqua Community College) paid off. The examiner even told me that I was pretty good with my driving and pretty safe too. not too bad!
