Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Yours in Dance,. Monday, May 25, 2009. Kho San road is ( I think) a definate must see. Truthfully there isn’t much to see there but there are some terriffic shops and lots of restaurants. We didn’t eat (we ran out of time) but we did take advantage of the shopping. We found tank tops for sale for 3 for 100 BHT……that’s roughly $1 a piece. We’ve actually been up there twice now…… I think we’re sufficiently stocked. Talk to you all soon! Yours in Dance,. We had been planning to go see it before we left but since it’s a bit of a distance we had decided to wait until we could make an entire day of it. Sunday, May 31, 2009. So I haven't blogged in a while. been dealing w/ life and such. Anyhow, I attended the final Art of Turkish Cuisine class of this session and here's what I learned. I'll upload some pics later from my other computer. I was talking ice cream w/ a client on Friday and she mentioned an interesting concoction she had made (she's from Vietnam) and it sounded so enticing I decided to try my own version of it. Well, might I say it came out just delightful! A friend who was over described it as "Gastronomic Genius"! Fig Preserve and Orange Blossom Ice Cream. This recipe makes 4 Qts). Sunday, March 29, 2009. I love yogurt and have never made it at home, although I have heard it's very easy. The wonderful Turkish women who teach the cooking classes shared their method and recipe w/ me. I'm making it right now - tomorrow morning will reveal whether or not it was a success. Here's the recipe I used. I'll post my thoughts and results later, maybe a picture too. Boil 2 litres of milk ( 8 C), leaving it warm after boiling. Add the yogurt/milk mixture back in to the boiled milk. 1-2 T Veg oil.

This is a delicious frozen summer treat! 8 oz light cream cheese, softened. 1 (14 oz) can of FF sweetened condensed milk. 6 T light chocolate syrup. 1 T instant coffee powder (decaf or reg). 1 T hot water. 1 1/2 C light whipped topping (I used FF Cool Whip). 6 oz Ready Crust - chocolate (I used oreo kind). 3 For best results, let pie stand in refrigerator for about 15 min before serving. Drizzle w/ remaining 2 T of chocolate syrup before slicing. For those on WW, it's 6 points/slice.
