IRANian AMERICAn observer: Why so much praise for Tunisians!?
http://iranianamericandiary.blogspot.com/2011/01/why-so-much-praise-for-tunisians.html
A blog about current affairs with an Iranian-American twist and daily observations. Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Why so much praise for Tunisians! But wait a minute. There are more differences between the two countries than similarities. Actually, Tunisia and Iran are both developing countries with authoritarian regimes with populations that are mostly Muslim. And that is where the similarities end. To use Tunisia as point of analysis does not make much sense. Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 2:30:00 PM EST.

foodbloglondon: Chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies
http://foodbloglondon.blogspot.com/2012/04/chocolate-chip-and-oatmeal-cookies.html
Monday, April 30, 2012. Chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies. Easy ways to make yourself popular on a long coach journey – get a cake tin, fill it with about 60 cookies and pass it round. Went on a trip to St Ives, Cambridgeshire (yes, yes, seven wives. And I decided to bake something. Partly, the church. Were providing 'refreshments' and as that can mean anything from biccies'n'tea to a four trestle-table blowout ( Darwen URC. I'm looking at you), I thought I'd better bring reinforcements. The recipe says...

http://iranianamericandiary.blogspot.com/2010/10/pomegranate.html
A blog about current affairs with an Iranian-American twist and daily observations. Sunday, October 17, 2010. I came across this. Describing the wrong way to open a pomegranate. My grandmothers would be turning in their graves if they saw this. She destroys the poor fruit making it bleed, then puts it in the water to get the arils. I was horrified. What are you doing to our national fruit woman? You're killing it. After I posted it online, a friend posted. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

foodbloglondon: June 2013
http://foodbloglondon.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Mint choc chip ice cream without a machine. At the risk of being repetitive, this is a Kavey Eats' Bloggers Scream For Ice Cream post. They're very effective at getting me to actually make and blog things. Filling oozing out of the bittermints. The challenge is herbs. Kavey mentioned she'd done fresh mint, After Eights and custard. However, I had overindulged at my brother's birthday party the day before. When I say 'overindulged', I don't mean I drank too much, I mean I snaff...

http://iranianamericandiary.blogspot.com/2011/01/going-all-way.html
A blog about current affairs with an Iranian-American twist and daily observations. Friday, January 21, 2011. Going all the way. But for now imagine this: Team Melli not only beats South Korea, but wins the next two games and becomes the continental champ for the first time since 1976! What will happen if we win? Will the Iranians flood the streets in masses to celebrate? Will the government be able to claim the championship as its own? Will it want to do that? What will the security forces do? I am in n...
