My Scribbles: April 2010
http://roziscribblingaway.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
About anything under the sun really. Sunday, April 18, 2010. Finally made those kueh keria. And since I am on the Food subject, my other favorite kueh minum petang is :. I could never get enough of cinnamon rolls, and . a simple marble cake. Now, who said I am lazy? Saturday, April 17, 2010. Home is where the heart is. I looked at her face and I know she's missing home. Relocation for kids are only easier if they were younger like below 8. That's my opinion. It gets harder today when my neighbour told me...

My Scribbles: February 2010
http://roziscribblingaway.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
About anything under the sun really. Sunday, February 28, 2010. Nina came home from school yesterday with a note from her school nurse. The note read : "Fainted after deep breathing exercise. Bruise with swelling to right side of head. Cannot remember the incident. Awake, alert response at all times. Pupils equal, reacting, light." (the last two words were my own assumption as they were rather ineligible). I don't know why she fainted really. She wasn't in her PE class, and it was after lunch hour...

My Scribbles: May 2010
http://roziscribblingaway.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
About anything under the sun really. Sunday, May 30, 2010. Amir woke up this morning and immediately told me of this "dream" (err, no, no, it's a nightmare, he quickly said) last night. Being a long-winded person that boy is - he tells stories from L to W, before going back to A to K, then jumped to almost Z before he realised he missed X and Y! His dream or nightmare as he said : ( after mummy edited to make it coherent. Of all the things! He spends too much time on google earth that boy). And then mumm...

My Scribbles: DIFFERENCES
http://roziscribblingaway.blogspot.com/2010/05/differences.html
About anything under the sun really. Saturday, May 8, 2010. Sometime back, I was reading the Quran, wearing just my t-shirt and jeans, sitting comfortably on the sofa. Nina asked me why am I not covered (referring to my aurat) and I said I am in the comfort of home, plus I was too lazy to wear my hijab but quickly added, Allah will understand? Why did I say that, I don't know. Not really a good answer to an 11-year old who was to look upon me as a role model (of some sort)! It's really interesting the wa...

My travelogue and such. A peek into my world - travels, events, happenings, daily anecdotes, etcetera. Thursday, 11 June 2009. Mid-Year School Holiday; 5-9 June 2009. Balik Kampung and the Scenic Drive Home. The things we often took for granted. Changlon and Alor Setar. Durian tree behind the house. Chempedak waiting to ripe. Rice field as far as the eyes could see. Sights along Grik-Kroh route. An unidentified mountain along the highway, normally covered by curtain of clouds. Sun shining from behind.

My travelogue and such. A peek into my world - travels, events, happenings, daily anecdotes, etcetera. Sunday, 8 May 2011. Mothers Day 2011; 8 May. As I lay on my bed reading today's news, I heard a knock on my bedroom door. I immediately knew it was Adin. Who else would come knocking on my door on a Sunday morning. He asked, "are you awake? And I told him to come in. He came to me and gave me a hug, wished me "Happy Mother's Day" and handed me a gift. Thank you for the gift. Monday, 2 May 2011. Amidst t...

my travelogue and such...: August 2010
http://primarilyrazita.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
My travelogue and such. A peek into my world - travels, events, happenings, daily anecdotes, etcetera. Tuesday, 10 August 2010. A House which is soon to be Home. The long wait is now over. This will be our new home soon. What will it look like inside? What will be the concept of the interior? Only time will tell. And time is something that we don't have the luxury of. I would like to have a modern minimalist concept, with a touch of elegance. I hope that my other half shares my insight. This is my story.

My Scribbles: Amir's "fashion" show
http://roziscribblingaway.blogspot.com/2010/06/amirs-fashion-show.html
About anything under the sun really. Wednesday, June 9, 2010. School is almost out here. Four more weeks to go. And only today, for the first time since I got here, I went to Amir's school to give him the much needed moral support a child needs from his/her parents. Finally. Like today, I spent 100 riyal on taxi! I promised him I would not miss it for the world. Next week is Nina's swimming gala. She said she wants me to come and I said, see first lah. I have to fair what? But I told them, next year I wi...
