Frank Helmholz, Founder and Owner of Cornerstone, began his stonework apprenticeship in Germany at the age of seventeen. Over the next 25 years he perfected his art by restoring German and French castles, churches and manors. He also worked on such major projects as the Pont De Bercy, a bridge over the Seine in Paris and on the restoration of the Basilica of St Denis in Paris. More recently he is overseeing the rebuilding of a 12th century Cistercian chapter house in Northern California.
