My Life in Print: January 2009
http://denise1ramirez.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 26, 2009. Facebook vs. Blogging. Denise is eating Fruit Loops. Denise is thinking of changing her profile pic. Denise is riding on a sunny, Fresno day. Denise is relaxing after teaching spin class. Do you see a pattern? This is Facebook. Quick. Easy. One liners. No brains. No thought. Most of the thinking involved, is when replying to someones Facebook posting. Still, it can be accomplished in a nano-second. 2 creating an entry using proper English. Finally, the "Closing" of my blog entry...

My Life in Print: September 2008
http://denise1ramirez.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Approved and funded by the Ramirez household. This photo evidences a disturbing trend that is beginning to affect wildlife in the U.S. Animals that were formerly self-sufficient are now showing signs of belonging to the Democratic Party- as they have apparently learned to simply sit and wait for the government to provide for their care and sustenance. Tuesday, September 9, 2008. Welcome to my world. Saturday, September 6, 2008. Blah of a month. And other shit I cannot even ...

Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty. Fat Kat knew it was time for his medicine, so he ran upstairs and hid. I found him hiding under our bed. The tell-tail sign was clear. Monday, May 18, 2009. I'm going to start backwards, just because I need to get the bad crap out of the way. Day #3 Race #4. Crossing the finish line, I was. Fricking impossible to tell the difference! Day 2 race #3. 11-mile hillclimb: from the start, we were climbing. We had a couple of mountain goats in our group, wh...

My Life in Print: June 2008
http://denise1ramirez.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Since there is no way that I could possibly write about everything we did/saw/experienced into a single blog entry, I've decided to just post the highlights. Here is a smidgen of what we did on a Aspencade. Almost 4,000 miles. About 400 photos were taken. 46000 in gas, prices ranging from $3.76 to $5.85 a gallon. Rode 300-500 miles a day. Temps from 25-109 degrees. Hotels from $39.00-$400.00 a night. Crossed the Continental Divide 3 times. Normalcy is a good thing. 3) One gal had ...

Saturday, August 8, 2009. Farewell my dear friend. I am a slave to Face Book. I admit it. FB is so quick and easy, that I can no longer have any interest in posting on my blog page any longer. Do not get me wrong, I have enjoyed creating my entries immensely, but the time has come to completley say good-bye to this ol' pal. I'll see you on Face Book, my dear blogging pals. My Life in Print: Copperopolis
http://denise1ramirez.blogspot.com/2009/04/copperopolis.html
Monday, April 13, 2009. I thought this race was nick-named as such, because all of the poorly patched potholes. Newer layers plopped on top of older layers, mile after mile of rough, bone-jarring road. There was some relief with a nice smooth section, but the road pitches up to a seemingly 35% gradient, so smooth road is of little consolation. I stepped over the crap and went pee. I kept my eyes forward, but my peripheral. It had to be a man. April 14, 2009 at 2:58 PM. You are a brave woman. I need to cl...

Monday, May 18, 2009. I'm going to start backwards, just because I need to get the bad crap out of the way. Day #3 Race #4. Road race: is a hill climb, as far as I am concerned. Right from the gun, we climbed for almost 20-minutes, until we flattened out for any length of distance. Those short, steep descents, hardly justified all of that dam climbing. Crossing the finish line, I was. Fricking impossible to tell the difference! Day 2 race #3. Day 2 race #2. Circuit race: I really like this course, it sui...

My Life in Print: February 2009
http://denise1ramirez.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 11, 2009. The ride from a snowy hell. Every Wednesday, Coach Felicia prescribes a 40-minute hillclimb at a designated heart rate. This is best done on the "four-lane." For the non-Fresans, this road is an awesome seven-mile climb at about a 10% gradient. Mistake #1- teaching two spin classes back-to-back. Mistake #3- piles of snow. At the 3,000' level, there was almost one foot of snow along the road. The views were amazing! Mistake #4- crap loads of snow. My patooties were frozen and...

My Life in Print: July 2008
http://denise1ramirez.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 28, 2008. Take me out to the ballgame. We drove for 7 hours, spent $125 in gas, and missed the final stage of the Tour de France, to watch the Giants loose. The good news is that we got 2 free Bobble Heads.which I am going to post on E-Bay today. We love the game, but it's just not the same if your team does not win. SF Giants 1- Arizona Diamondback 7. Thursday, July 17, 2008. This years legs.I mean peloton. Wednesday, July 9, 2008. Road Rage vs. Cyclists.guess who lost? Monday, July 7, 2008.
