Sadie's Delicious Recipes. So I don't have to try to remember them anymore. The beef is optional for this recipe, but can add quite a bit more to the pot so you have more leftovers. Bit of butter or olive oil. 10-16 oz beef for stew (chuck eye, chuck steak, beef shanks, top round, etc), cut into bite size. 2 carrots, chopped. 2 celery stalks, diced well. 1/2 medium onion, chopped. 2 cloves of garlic, crushed and chopped. 1 medium yukon gold or red potato (or 2 small), cut into bite size. 1 lbs ground beef.
