WTIA 及 PISA 每年的重頭戲，可說是 War Driving 這個無線網絡保安普查。 他們自 2002 年起，每年均會在香港島乘搭電車，並以天線掃描途徑路途的 AP，以檢查其數量及保安程度，並以這些數據觀察香港 Wi-Fi 用家的無線網絡保安安全意識，並提出相對改善建議。 去年更首度將規模擴大至澳門，並在市內旺區、甚至登上 338 米高的澳門旅遊塔，以高強度天線進行 Wi-Fi 訊號掃描，可說創下本地 Wi-Fi 保安普查先例。

Wi-Fi(Wireless Fidelity) 一詞由 Wi-Fi 產業聯盟 Wi-Fi Alliance 提出，WiFi是一種可以透過 2.4GHz及5GHz無線頻率傳送數據的技術，可讓手筆記簿電腦、PDA、手機、智能手機以無線方式上網。 現時最熱門的 Wi-Fi 無線網絡通信的工業標準為 IEEE 802.11，由早期的 802.11b 制式(11Mbps)至現時主流的 802.11g (54Mbps)，傳送速度仍在不斷提高之中。 至於在香港，Wi-Fi 發展亦已近 10 年，但真正急步發展，可說是由 2003 年開始，由於固網服務供應商在咖啡店提供 200 個無線上網熱點，令無線網絡開始著及。 及後，筆電晶片商 Intel 在 2003 年 3 月發布 Centrino 筆電平台，並將 802.11b 納入成為筆記簿型電腦標準配備，從此筆電多數內建無線網絡功能，令 Wi-Fi 發展更加迅速。 在 08 年 1 月，有寬頻服務供應商在各大屋村為住戶提供 Wi-Fi 服務，令無線網絡正式平民化。

清除 Android 手機內舊的 gpsdebug.log. 在設定查手機儲存空間，明明總空間有1.4G，應用程式及其他總共也只佔用了600M左右，但可用空間就只剩下百幾M，幾百M的空間不知去了那裡，最後用 root explorer 之類的程式逐個資料夾查，發現 data misc 下有大量 gpsdebug.log，於是把那些檔案刪除，只剩下最近兩個，現在可用空間變回有800多M，手機有不明儲存空間失蹤的朋友可以看看是不是有也有大量 gpsdebug.log 的問題。 訂閱： 文章 (Atom). 清除 Android 手機內舊的 gpsdebug.log.
