Berndt took us back to 'his' end of Tan Tan, which is a long strung out town with a military base at one end and to a cafe he knew although he was in the Hotel Dakar opposite ours he'd explored the other end of town having been there a few days in an attempt to get to Tarfaya. Getting up early the next morning we downed a few coffees before heading off to buy a ferry ticket across to Tangiers!
