This is your warning, if you plan to be at my house for more than an hour you’ll probably get a hands on experience with what’s going on here. We ended up binding for about 2 hours and got through 26 books! Exciting things are happening and here’s a preview of coming attractions:. More binding next Tuesday here during the day.

These bookbinding leather scraps were donated to me by Mellissa and have proved very effective in replacing and/or covering broken soft covers. Book to be fixed, Leather, Linen, Yes! Lay flat glue (or other wheat paste), PVA glue, Tapestry Needle, Waxed Linen Thread, Rubber Bands, Waxed Paper, x-acto knife, hand drill, Scissors. Pliers may be helpful for thicker books).
