Saturday, 25 July 2009. Mascotte managed to get up to Talisker to meet the Classic Malts Cruise. What better way to go sailing: good winds, great scenery and a fine dram! Thanks to Christine Spreiter for the picture. Mascotte attended Crinan Classic Boat Festival from the 2nd - 5th July. The festival is a celebration of vessels with wooden hulls. The festival opened with the Puffer Vic 32 entering Crinan sea Lock with a pipe band onboard. Whiskey was provided to celebrate the opening of the festival.

Monday, 18 May 2009. Mascotte arrives in Scotland. During Late April, our intrepid team sailed up from Gloucester to Corpach. We enjoyed some fantastic sailing, with a good wind all the way up the Irish Sea. We have since spent a few days finishing some odd-jobs onboard and also have managed a training weekend for the Scottish Islands 3 peaks race (more news about that later).
