Tuesday, July 27, 2010. We are in Thunderbolt, which is right outside of Savannah, we have met up with Dixie and Dicky. We (all 4) took a little ride last night in our boat (ChrisJen), and took her back to the marina where we bought her (ChrisJen). The marina is about 4 miles up the Wilmington River. It was a nice ride with the sea breeze and the sunset. We will be heading out this morning, heading (of course) north. I will keep up with the blog again. Sorry for the delay. xoxo, L&M and D&D.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Retiring to some is like starting a new life, but not here. Life is too short, and it's been hard to keep the dust off the patience shelf. Some say we are too young, young is only how far you are from a coffin. Well, Chrisjen (our boat) is almost ready for our voyages to new shores. We will finish our land duties soon, sell off the unneeded, store the home treasures, give our love to our kids and grandkids, tell friends we will keep in touch and disappear into retirement.

Thursday, September 9, 2010. Good Morning People,. GUMBO time.(pics) whooohooo. We also passed through Port Deposit, MD, which has granite on the hill sides. And the homes are as close to the road as can be. We are going to head back to LA around the first week in October for a couple of weeks. Hi y'all, the photo album of 08/17/10 was not suppose to post, so the first 29 pictures are from previous times that were not good enough to place on the blog, so just don't pay attention to them. We are going through the Okeechobee Waterway, which is a passage that runs through Florida instead of going around by Key West. That will be another trip.
