Just another WordPress.com site. The Last Run of 2014. October 25, 2014. Saturday, Oct 25, 2014. It’s 120 miles to Suva. While it would be nice to stay at Paradise Resort, get a massage and be pampered for a day, we decide that with only 11 days before we leave Dragonfly, we better get underway. After two hours the sky started to get lighter and the clouds were breaking up a bit. The winds started to slow down. Dragonfly got us through another rough one, she’s such a terrific vessel! Dragonsong is a 52' steel ketch completed in England in 1990 and fitted out for long distance short handed sailing. Bought by Trish and Jim Hughes in November 2001 she is being prepared for an extended cruise to southern latitudes and hopefully many fun filled days in the sun.
