About Dana, Kai, and the adventure. Thursday, July 10, 2014. One week left of the adventure. Sunset over Prickly Bay, Grenada. Leaving Chaguaramas, Trinidad under cloudy skies. By that point, our speed had slowed to less than 4 knots and the final leg of the trip felt like forever. We couldn’t see sweet Grenada until we were within 6 or 7 miles of her shores due to haze. What a welcome sight! Upon anchoring at 9:30 am we fell asleep and slept until dark. Securing the jib once in the calm of Prickly Bay.

Turns out this is the same exact sailboat Dana and I chartered for the week of our honeymoon in the US and British Virgin Islands back in 2008. How it ended up in North Carolina, and what happened to her Captain and his wife, I have no idea. But here's what it looked like the last time we ran into her. Monday, October 28, 2013. Heck the whole boat is awesome looking. Did it look that well when you accepted it? November 13, 2013 at 4:34 PM. It definitely didnt look like that when we accepted it. Dana modeling in front of the view (Eventyr in background). The turtles lazily swam along the bottom gulping down bunches of sea grass. They let us swim right up before slowly moving off. This was an experience truly not to be missed! Me harassing a couple turtles. Dana enjoying the Tobago Cays turtles. Hanna excited to meet a sea turtle in person.
