This was yesterday, this morning we folded the genoa into a smallest possible size and rowed ashore to meet the sai...

Wrinkles in Our Sails: August 2015
http://wrinklesinoursails.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 30, 2015. Go for a swim anyone? We sent out our propeller last Thursday for testing and balancing. The hope is that an out of whack propeller is causing our shaft vibration issue. It was really good to hear that Coastal Prop Technology found all three blades set at different pitches rather than perfectly matched. They are currently adjusting the propeller for us and hopefully it will be done by Thursday. Mike and Brenda Greene. Friday, August 28, 2015. Mike and Brenda Greene. Mike and Bren...

Wrinkles in Our Sails: We're At The Boat!
http://wrinklesinoursails.blogspot.com/2015/08/we-at-boat.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Were At The Boat! Our spot for two weeks. After years of planning, sailing and dreaming we are actually cruising. Well, in reality we are sweating our butts off on a boat on land. We are working on our 1984 Island Packet 31 at Port Charlotte Boat Storage near Fort Myers. Between the rain storms and sweltering heat our progress has been slow, but things are getting done. Motel room filling up. Mike and Brenda Greene. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Brenda and I have been joined by our friends Jim and Joni in Port Charlotte. They arrived Sunday after driving a long, long way to Punta Gorda. Their route of Wisconsin to Kentucky to Wisconsin to Punta Gorda included one blown motor near Kentucky and a rental truck/trailer trip back to Wisconsin to drop off their dead Audi and renting a car for the return trip.
