Saturday, October 26, 2013. Rickie, Charlie, and Cathy. In between torrential downpours, we managed to check out a few shops and art galleries. The next day, Charlie was in the mood for a road trip. Luckily, his plans included dropping us off in La Paz at our boat! We brought them to our favorite fish place in Todos Santos. Friday, May 31, 2013. The next morning it was still just as bumpy and we decided to pull anchor and head to Isla Coronados. Not only is it a beautiful deserted island, but we can get internet there from the cell tower in Loreto! The water was glassy calm and crystal clear. As we rounded Punta Lobos at the north end of Isla Carmen, the local fishing fleet had found a school of yellow tail, and the dolphin were out in force. Wednesday, November 27, 2013. La Paz to Mazatlan. Once we got back to the boat in La Paz, we were hard at work getting the boat ready to sail for Mazatlan. We had the mainsail cover repaired, Rich worked on getting the watermaker leaks fixed, autopilot leaks fixed, and various other projects. There was a little time available to have fun, however! Sunday, April 28, 2013. On Friday 4/26, we met up with Steve on Pacific, and had dinner at the small restaurant in the port. His wife Susan will be arriving on Sunday and we plan to spend more time with them as well as our other friends that are beginning to show up.
