Building a Richard Woods designed VARDO performance cruising catamaran. Friday, May 16, 2014. Saturday, May 10, 2014. So, I had bought all this orange paint. I had thought about doing a strip on the cabin side in typical Woods fashion, but there was some concern that the paint would not be color fast enough. It turned out to be an ideal paint for working overhead, quite thick. . Can you imagine the wifies questions of the salesman? 160;Why is that painted orange again? Reflects the UV radiation better?

Building a Richard Woods designed VARDO performance cruising catamaran. Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Sailing outside in Exuma sound. Photo shows one of the two mid 40ish monos we passed on this 8 mile upwind leg. Someone told me a PDQ sailed the race a few years ago in these conditions and they "thought the boat might fall apart". We experienced a few slight slaps on the underwing, but nothing that disturbed our forward progress or Abbys test mug of water on the saloon table! Salt Pond Long Island.
