After a couple of lazy days in Athens we hoped on the plane for the short flight back to New Zealand. 8203;We are now home safe and sound on the sunny Kapiti Coast. Our beach looking out toward Kapiti Island. The other end of the beach. It's a bit crowded today. It's spring time here, still a bit chilly but with summer on the way. As forecast today was very wet with rain almost all day. So after our big day out yesterday (see previous blog) today was a more subdued affair. Amanda's Pre Birthday Day Out.

Here is a little about us. We are from New Zealand and spend six months each year sailing in Europe and six months back home working like crazy. Aztec Gold is a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40.3. We bought Aztec Gold at the beginning of 2014 and sailed from the UK to France, northern Spain and Portugal. We finished our season in Lagos, Portugal. In 2015, our second season, we sailed from Lagos to the Ionian Islands of Greece. 8203;In 2016 we will explore more of Greece as well as Montenegro and Croatia.
