Successful project meeting held at ETH Zurich, hosted by Agroscope. Members present their progress so far. After 18 months of initial research the LegumePlus project members and researchers (ESR/ERs) have met in Zurich to discuss progress and preliminary results of the first year and a half of research. Despite difficulties with travel due to airline strikes in France, nearly all of the project members were able to attend and compare their methods and plans for the coming few years.

While attending the Eucarpia conference on forage crops in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia, LegumPlus coordinator Irene Mueller-Harvey (Reading University, UK) and breeding specialist Beat Boller (Agroscope, Reckenholz, Switzerland) were fortunate to come across Sainfoin growing naturally in meadows and in fields on the roadside.
