Moto Ryder: Moto Coffee
http://www.moto-ryder.com/2015/05/moto-coffee.html
Tuesday, May 5, 2015. I LOVE my coffee. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it an addiction, but a thorough enjoyment of the pleasures of riding motorcycles and sipping Joe. Next riding buddies, and a cold beer at the end of a ride, few things compliment motorcycles better than coffee. Every good cup of coffee starts with fresh beans. The fresher you can keep your beans the better the brew. It’s obviously easier to store and transport your coffee if it’s pre-ground, but if you like the ri...It’s adjust...

Moto Ryder: Dirty Sellwood
http://www.moto-ryder.com/2015/05/dirty-sellwood.html
Monday, May 11, 2015. Have I mentioned I love exploring old abandoned buildings? A perfect cross section of failed days of yesteryear. Really fascinating stuff. They tell an amazing story of old commerce, and the frequent inhabitation of the disenfranchized since the commerce died. Like studying economical skeletons or some other heavy metaphor. They also have great graffiti. Nothing like an empty building to give a guy a lot of time to paint. And I had snacks. Holy shit I had snacks! My last official du...

Moto Ryder: Gear Review - Metzeler Tourance Tire
http://www.moto-ryder.com/2013/11/gear-review-metzeler-tourance-tire.html
Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Gear Review - Metzeler Tourance Tire. The KLR is currently wearing its way through the second set of Metzeler Tourance Dualsport Tires. They're rated as an 85% street, 15% off road tire. Previously I'd gone through a couple sets of stock tires (my point of comparison) which, for those who don't know, are a far knobbier tire. Throw a couple of "L's" on there if you're British: Knobblier? After a tip from a friend I waited until a "Free Shipping" deal came along and purchased my...

Moto Ryder: Gear Review: Metzler Enduro 3 Sahara Tires
http://www.moto-ryder.com/2015/05/gear-review-metzler-enduro-3-sahara.html
Friday, May 15, 2015. Gear Review: Metzler Enduro 3 Sahara Tires. Up until this last fall I've been running a set of Metzler Tourance. I didn't want to jump in right away and just get another set of Metzlers, even though I was aready a fan, so I did ample research on what else was out there and what the chief complaints are about Metzler's offerings. The leading complaint I found across several sites about Metzlers was their cost. "They're so expensive! I received the tires, got them mounted, and two day...

Moto Ryder: July 2014
http://www.moto-ryder.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 30, 2014. I spend the cold, wet, months of Portlands winter hibernating (read: working in my studio). But thats not to say that time is completely devoid of motorcycles. In fact Portland is home to one of the cooler handmade motorcycle shows in the country: The One Motorycycle Show. It falls in early February, and this year aligned perfectly with Portlands own Snowpocalypse. Perfect timing for all those rad group rides hoping to zip around the city and wind up at the show.
