Baby Joseph is Here! Joseph Hines McKinley was born on September 25, 2009, at 7:33am. He weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. and measured 21 inches long. We are so happy to finally have him here! He is such a blessing and a very sweet baby! Sarah has been very good with him so far. Of course, he's not very threatening to her right now, so we'll see if that changes in the next few months! We all had a pretty low-key Thanksgiving, but we had some friends visit on Saturday. Sarah met Meri Margaret for the first time, and I think they were instant friends! On August 13, 2009, Sarah turned 2 years old! What a fun birthday party we had! We invited mostly family, with a few friends from daycare. Sarah had such a fun time opening presents and blowing out the candles on her Dora cake! Then, we went to the backyard to play in the sprinklers and baby pool! On August 13, 2008, Sarah Crawford McKinley turned ONE YEAR OLD! A whole year has already flown by! She woke up that morning to some strange decorations in the kitchen and didn't quite know what to make of it. After 5 minutes of picture taking at 5 am, I think she figured out that something was special about this day. It has been so long since my last post. We have found out that we are having a little boy this time, and after the initial shock wore off, we began to get really excited! We just hope that Sarah shares this enthusiasm. We have decided to name him Joseph Hines, after Eric's father (and my maiden name). We took a family vacation to the beach and then visited my dad's for July, 4th. We really haven't stopped in the past two months! I've included a new slide show at the bottom to update everyone!

Panama City Beach, 2008. Our first family vacation! We had a blast. Sarah has issues with textures, so we weren't that optimistic about her liking the sand (she hates the grass). However, we were pleasantly surprised that she loved every aspect of the beach. She was so tired on the last day that she actually just laid down in the sand like she was ready for a nap!
