7:15 pm - January 5, 2015. Ben’s awesome Kindergarten teacher from last year had baby girl number two, and I was oh so happy to photograph her little cuties just before Christmas! Be prepared for an insane amount of CUTE…. Those coordinating outfits were made by a very talented grandmother! And being so close to Christmas, of course we had to dress the baby up in Santa gear! She was such a good little sleeper. We even caught a smile. She must have been having a nice dream🙂. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Monthly Archives: July 2015. 2:00 am - July 16, 2015. I’m on a roll this year with great weddings! It was another beautiful, fun, emotional, fantastic day celebrating Kaylan and Alex at the church where Kaylan grew up. These two are just about as adorable as you can get. We then stepped over to some gorgeous trees that were right next to the church to snap some more pics of the lovebirds. Yes, her eyes are THAT blue. We then went back inside to say “I do! At the end of the reception, we stepped outside t...

5:26 pm - March 11, 2015. Once upon a time a Chemist fell in love with a Dancer……. And he proposed marriage to her at this very park, upon this very bench just a few months ago. Meet Caitlin and Steve. First of all, don’t you just love when a couple totally nails their outfits? After last week’s snow, we had finally started enjoying some Spring weather. They were colorful and happy and Spring-like and adorable and perfectly coordinated. Makes my job a LOT easier when couples do that! Her ring is gorgeous!

3:30 pm - October 1, 2014. Meet Elizabeth and Cody. They are high school sweethearts and they are adorable. Elizabeth is the only girl in a set of quadruplets! She is studying to be an Elementary School teacher and will graduate in about another year. Her mom was Sydney’s Kindergarten teacher last year, and we LOVED her. Cody and Elizabeth got engaged at Shelter Gardens inside the little schoolhouse (since Elizabeth is studying to be a teacher). Cody had written “Will you marry me? John and Gay Mathews.

Props to Caitlin for dredging through the muddy ground left from melting snow in her heels to get to this location! They were both very accommodating to my photographer demands. Her ring is gorgeous!

Sydney’s 7th Birthday Painting Party | Shauna Maschmann Photography

8:49 pm - November 16, 2014. Sydney’s 7th Birthday Painting Party. I love that my daughter loves art. It is in her blood. When she asked to have a painting party, I jumped on Pinterest, and the rest is history. First I took her picture for the invitations…. Then I asked my super awesome sister to make me some horse stickers for the canvas. She used her cricket and some sort of all weather vinyl. She is awesome. Without her I wouldn’t be able to create or plan half the things I do! Enter your comment here.

9:33 pm - October 21, 2015. Amanda Charlie Engagement Session. Do you believe in love at first sight? Well, that’s what happened to me when I met Charlie and Amanda! Also, within 5 minutes of meeting, I walked out with Amanda’s purse. She very politely said, “Oh, thank you for carrying out my purse.” I was like, “What? I’m pretty sure I would never look this cute getting hoisted up onto a hay bail! Can anyone say LEGS FOR MILES? 8221; I said, “You probably won’t want to lay down like this on ...And then ...

5:03 pm - June 5, 2015. If I had to describe this wedding in one word, it would be thoughtful. This couple put so much thought into every little detail, to the location, the dress, the food, the cake, the flowers, including the children in every single thing….it was just really touching to see how much thought went into everything! And it was beautiful. And the children proclaim, “You may now kiss our mommy! I think my favorite moment of every wedding is when the bride and groom first walk back through t...
